B2255-OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER ROLL OVER FEATURE DISABLE
Theory of Operation
When powered, the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) performs an internal self test. The repair of this fault condition does not involve any external circuitry and centers on verifying the integrity of the module's internal circuitry and software validity
- When Monitored:
The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) checks the status and validity of the internal operating hardware and software at power up during the initialization process, and continuously through the ignition cycle.
- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the ORC Roll Over Feature has been disabled via the scan tool.

OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER ROLL OVER FEATURE STATUS
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool read the ORC Roll Over Feature status, Enable or Disabled.
Does the scan tool show Roll Over Feature Disabled?
Repair
- With the scan tool select Enable to clear the active B2255 DTC.
- Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Restraints System Verification Test.
