1. Position generator (2) to engine and install mounting bolts (1). Tighten bolts to 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.).





2. Connect field wire connector (4) into generator.
3. Install B+ terminal (1) and nut (2) to generator mounting stud. Tighten nut to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs.)
4. Snap plastic protective cover (3) to B+ terminal.

CAUTION: When installing a serpentine accessory drive belt, the belt MUST be routed correctly. The water pump will be rotating in the wrong direction if the belt is installed incorrectly, causing the engine to overheat.

5. Install drive belt, Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
6. Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
