For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

Theory of Operation

When a key is inserted in the ignition switch and is turned to the Run/Start position, the Wireless Control Module (WCM) performs a self-test and re-synchronization routine. During this routine, the WCM interrogates the key, performing various validity and performance tests.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition switch on.

- Set Condition:
When the maximum number of keys (eight) have been programmed into the Wireless Control Module (WCM).

MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF KEYS PROGRAMMED INTO WCM

NOTE: The following procedure clears all key information in the WCM. It is important to obtain all the customer's ignition keys so they may be reprogrammed into the module.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using a scan tool, clear all the key information in the WCM.
3. Program all of the customer's keys into the WCM (up to eight).
