Engine Torque Specifications

5.7L - HEV






CYLINDER HEAD





Position the cylinder head(s) in place.
Using the sequence shown, tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.)
Using the sequence shown, tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Using the sequence shown, tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.)
Using the sequence shown, tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Using the sequence shown, rotate the cylinder head bolts 1 through 10 90°.
Using the sequence shown, tighten the cylinder head bolts 11 through 15 to 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.)

INTAKE MANIFOLD





Intake Manifold Bolts 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)

MAIN BEARING CAP





Tighten main bearing cap bolts to 13 Nm ( 10 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
Tighten main bearing cap bolts to 27 Nm ( 20 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
Rotate main cap bolts an additional 90° in the sequence shown.





Tighten cross bolt to 28 Nm ( 21 ft. lbs.).
Repeat cross bolt tightening procedure.
