Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Tube - Removal

1. Remove bolts (3) and exhaust gas recirculate (EGR) tube (2) from EGR valve (5).






CAUTION: DO NOT use air tools when removing bolts from intake manifold. The intake manifold is made of plastic and it is critical to remove bolts using hand tools only. The use of air tools can damage the threads of the intake manifold.

2. Remove bolts and EGR tube from intake manifold.





3. Remove silicone rubber seal from intake manifold.





4. Inspect rubber silicone seal for wear or cracks, replace as necessary.
