Sliding Door Glass - Installation

INSTALLATION






FIXED GLASS

NOTE: Left side door shown in illustrations. Right side door similar.





1. Install the glass (2) to the fixed glass mounting bracket (6).





2. Install the glass to the sliding door.
3. Install the mounting fasteners (5).
4. Rotate lower glass channel into position and attach two bolts.
5. Install the door trim panel. Door Trim Panel - Installation.

MOVABLE GLASS

NOTE: Left side door shown in illustrations. Right side door similar.

NOTE: If the door glass did not move in the door using with power window switch, replace the regulator and/or the regulator motor or repair the electrical concern prior to installing the door glass.





1. Install the sliding door glass (2) into the window opening. Make sure the glass is properly positioned within the glass run.
2. Pull the rear glass run into position and install the mounting fasteners.






NOTE: Illustration shown with carrier plate removed for clarity.

3. Working through the close-out plugs in the door module assembly, carefully engage the sliding door glass into the two plastic liftplates (3) located on the window regulator and secure glass attach nuts.
4. Rotate lower glass channel into position and secure two attach bolts.
5. Install the close-out plugs onto the door module assembly.
6. Install the door trim panel. Door Trim Panel - Installation.
7. Install the rear applique.
