Infrared Temperature Sensor - Removal






REMOVAL

NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the face of the overhead console from cosmetic damage during this service procedure.






NOTE: Typical overhead console shown. Infrared sensor location may vary by model.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the front overhead console (3) and place it on a workbench.
3. Remove the screw (2) that secures the infrared sensor (1) to the back side of the overhead console and remove the sensor.
