CYLINDER HEADStep 1: 61 Nm (45 ft.lbs.)
Step 2: 88 Nm (65 ft.lbs.)
Step 3: 88 Nm (65 ft.lbs.)
Step 4: + 1/4° Turn (+1/4° Turn ft.lbs.)
CAUTION: Do not use a torque wrench for this step.
Bolt torque after 90° turn should be over 122 Nm (90 ft. lbs.) in the tightening direction. If not, replace the bolt.
HEAD BOLT REUSE/REPLACE
Cylinder head bolts are tightened using a torque plus angle procedure. The bolts must be examined BEFORE reuse. If the threads are necked down the bolts must be replaced. Failure to replace a damaged bolt may lead to possible engine damage.

Standard dimension less than 0.05 mm (0.002 inch.)
Service Limit 0.2 mm (0.008 inch.)
Grinding Limit Maximum of 0.2 mm (0.008 inch.) is permitted.
INTAKE MANIFOLD
Intake Manifold - Lower 28 Nm (250 in.lbs)
Intake Manifold - Upper 12 Nm (105 in.lbs)
(Tighten bolts gradually starting in the center working outward)
CAMSHAFT SPROCKET
Camshaft Sprocket Bolt-Right Side 102 + 1/4 Turn Nm (75 + 1/4 Turn ft.lbs)
Camshaft Sprocket Bolt-Left Side 102 + 1/4 Turn Nm (75 + 1/4 Turn ft.lbs)
EXHAUST MANIFOLD
Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head-Bolts 23 Nm (200 in.lbs)
