Load Floor/Kneel Position Recliner Cable - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Fold the rear seat back down.
2. Position the rear load floor cover up and out of the way.
3. Remove the rear screw of the kneel handle bezel.





4. Separate the seat back cover lower J-straps and position aside.





5. Remove the rear recliner shield screws.





6. Remove the side recliner shield screw.





7. Rotate the cable end (2) 90° and disconnect from the lever.
8. Carefully release the cable housing (1) from the seat.





9. Lift the seat back into the full upright position.
10. Position the rear seat back cushion and cover (1) aside and remove the recliner cover screw (2).
11. Remove the recliner cover.





12. From under the seat cushion, remove the inner handle bezel screw.





13. Remove the front kneel handle bezel screw (2) and separate the bezel (1) from the seat structure.





14. Separate the cable housing (1) from the bezel (2) and remove the bezel.





15. Remove the screws (2) and remove the kneel handle and cable assembly (1).
