Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Installation

NOTE: Caliper Adapter Wrench 10050 must be used to torque the upper caliper adapter bolts for the 4500 and 5500 series trucks, and Caliper Adapter Wrench 10186 must be used to torque the upper caliper adapter bolts for the 2500 and 3500 series trucks.

1. Install the caliper adapter mounting bolts (4) and tighten to specifications per the Adapter Bolt Torque chart. Use the proper Caliper Adapter Wrench for the upper bolts only.
2. Install the anti-rattle clips (2).
3. Install the inboard and outboard pads (1).
4. Install the caliper mounting bolts. On 2500 and 3500 series, tighten to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.). On 4500 and 5500 series, tighten to 132 Nm (98 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the tire and wheel assembly.
