B142C-VES VIDEO SCREEN DISCONNECTED

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information Electrical Diagrams.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on and the Radio in Video mode.

- Set Condition:
With the Radio in Video mode, the Radio does not detect a VES Video Screen.





1. TEST VES VIDEO SCREEN CONNECTION
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the VES Video Screen connector.
3. Inspect the VES Video Screen connection.

Was the VES Video Screen connection clean and secure?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Repair the VES Video Screen connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

2. VES VIDEO SCREEN
1. Refer to the Audio System and test the VES Video Screen.

Is the Antenna OK?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- Repair or replace the VES Video Screen.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

3. RADIO

NOTE: Reconnect all previously disconnected components.

NOTE: Move vehicle outside approximately 9.14 m (30 ft.) from any structure.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Turn the Radio on.
3. With the scan tool, clear all DTCs, put the Radio in Video mode.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display active: B142C-VES VIDEO SCREEN DISCONNECTED?

Yes

- Replace the Radio.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test Complete.
