Engine Cover - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the engine cover (1) and tighten retaining bolts (2).





2. Install the oil fill tube (1). Tighten bolt (2) to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.).





3. Position the air cleaner assembly and push down on the front tabs (1) to lock in place.





4. If equipped, install the positive battery terminal lead (1) to the air cleaner housing.





5. Connect the air cleaner inlet tube (5).
6. Loosen Connect the air cleaner outlet tube to the air cleaner housing (4) and tighten the clamp (1).
7. Connect the air intake air pressure sensor (3) harness connectors.
8. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) (2) harness connectors.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
