Front Blower Motor Power Module - Description






DESCRIPTION





A blower motor power module is used on this model when equipped with the automatic temperature control (ATC) heating-A/C system. Models equipped with the manual temperature control (MTC) heating and/or A/C system use a blower motor resistor, instead of the blower motor power module Description - Front.

The blower motor power module consists of a molded plastic housing (1) with an integral wire connector receptacle (4). Concealed behind the housing is the power module electronic circuitry and heat sink (3). The blower motor power module also has integral mounting tabs (2) to secure it to the HVAC housing.

The blower motor power module can be accessed for service by removing the glove box from the instrument panel.
