Ignition Switch - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Ignition switch location.





3. Remove radio bezel, Instrument Panel Bezel - Removal





4. Remove instrument cluster bezel, Instrument Cluster Bezel - Removal.
5. Remove the knee bolster, Kneeblocker - Removal.





6. Disconnect two electrical connectors from the back of instrument cluster.





7. Relocate instrument cluster to the left.





8. Remove the two front mounting screws for ignition switch.





9. Remove one rear mounting screw and washer from ignition switch.





10. Use a thin screw driver and unclip ignition switch from mounting position. Push switch back to remove.





11. Push switch back and down to opening from knee bolster area.










12. Disconnect shift interlock cable, Shift Interlock Cable - Removal.
13. Remove ignition switch assembly.
