Installation

3500 CAB CHASSIS

NOTE: All views are typical.





1. Position the brake shield (1) on bolts.
2. Install the hub/bearing to the knuckle and tighten the hub/bearing bolts (2) to specifications Front Suspension Specifications.
3. Install the hub nut and tighten to specifications Front Suspension Specifications.
4. Install the wheel speed sensor to the hub Wheel Speed Sensor - Installation.
5. Install the disc brake rotor Brake Rotor - Installation.
6. Install the brake caliper adapter with the caliper Disc Brake Caliper Adapter - Installation.
7. If equipped, install the hub extension and nuts to the front rotor and tighten nuts to specifications Front Suspension Specifications.
8. Install the wheel and tire assemblies Service and Repair.
9. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
10. Apply the brakes several times to seat the brake shoes and caliper piston. Do not move the vehicle until a firm brake pedal is obtained.
