Front Fender - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the front wheel.
4. Remove the front wheelhouse splash shield, Splash Shield - Removal.
5. Remove the front fascia, Front Bumper Fascia - Removal.
6. Remove the headlamp, Front Lamp Unit - Removal.
7. Remove the two fasteners (1) securing the fender's front dogleg to the front end module.





8. Accessing through the wheelhouse, remove the bolt (1) securing the fender's rear dogleg to the bodyside bracket.





9. Remove the rocker panel/cladding.
10. Remove the two bolts (1) securing the lower fender dogleg to the sill.





11. Lower the vehicle.
12. Open the hood and support with a suitable prop or block.
13. Remove the hood hinge (2), Hood Hinge - Removal.
14. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the inner fender ledge.
15. Remove the fender from the vehicle.
