Intake Manifold: Specifications

UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD






Prior to installing the upper intake manifold, verify that the four fuel rail bolts were not inadvertently loosened.

The bolts must tightened 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.)






Install the seven upper intake manifold attaching bolts.
Tighten the bolts 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).

Install two nuts to the upper intake manifold support bracket.
Tighten the nuts 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.)
Tighten the stud 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)

Install the two upper intake manifold support brackets with two stud retainers and two nuts.
Tighten the stud retainers 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
Tighten the nuts 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.).






LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD





Install the fuel injectors and the fuel rail to the lower intake manifold.
Tighten the four bolts 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.)






Tighten the intake manifold retaining bolts 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
