Brake and/or Accelerator Pedals - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Install the pedal assembly to the vehicle.
2. Install four power brake booster mounting nuts (3) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
3. Install the upper brake pedal sled nut (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)
4. Install booster push rod (4) on pedal pin and install a NEW retainer clip (2) on pedal pin.
5. Install and adjust the stop lamp switch Stop Lamp Switch - Installation
6. Install the steering column opening cover Steering Column Opening Cover - Installation.
7. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
8. Verify proper brake system operation.
