Rear Suspension Tension Link - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: The tension links (5) are left/right specific but could be installed incorrectly. Be sure that the bushing bevel is located at and against the knuckle.

1. Using a suitable holding fixture, support the outboard end of the lower control arm and lift it to normal ride height.
2. Position the tension link (5) and install the link to knuckle bolt/nut (4) and tighten to 108 Nm (79 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the tension link to cradle bolt/nut (6) and tighten to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
4. Remove the lower control arm holding fixture.
5. Install the tire and wheel Service and Repair.
6. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
