Axle Shaft Seal - Installation

RIGHT SIDE





1. Using Driver Handle (1), Drive Handle Extention and Installer (2), and install NEW axle shaft seal. Lubricate the inside diameter with Mopar(R) Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-85 to protect seal during halfshaft installation.
2. Install halfshaft. Half Shaft - Installation.

LEFT SIDE





1. Using Driver Handle (1), Drive Handle Extention and Installer (2), and install NEW axle shaft seal. Lubricate the inside diameter with Mopar(R) Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-85 to protect seal during halfshaft installation.
2. Install halfshaft. Half Shaft - Installation.





3. Remove fill plug (1) to check and adjust rear axle fluid level.
4. Reinstall fill plug and torque to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.) torque.
