REMOVAL






NOTE: Propeller shaft is serviced as an assembly only.

1. Place vehicle on floor or drive-on hoist with full weight of vehicle on suspension.
2. Shift transmission and transfer case (2) in to Neutral.
3. If equipped, remove skid plate Skid Plate - Removal





4. Mark a line (3) across the C/V joints to companion flanges for installation reference.
5. Raise vehicle.
6. Remove bolts from C/V joints.
7. Push propeller shaft forward to clear transfer case companion flange and remove the shaft.
