Rear Door Glass - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: Use care not to transfer grease from the lower edge of the door glass to the outer belt molding.

1. Carefully lower the door glass (1) into the rear door through the window opening.






NOTE: Illustration shown with inner door panel removed for clarity.

2. Rotate the door glass (2) into position toward the front of the vehicle.
3. Rotate the door glass into position and engage it to the window regulator glass sliders (1) making sure the glass and lift plates are properly seated.
4. Lower the glass and seat into the two regulator glass sliders. Grasp the glass along the top edge and make sure the glass is seated and secured fully.





5. Position the foam seals (1) onto the door mounting flange and seat fully.





6. Position and seat the inner belt molding fully.
7. Install the upper trim molding.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
