Primary And Secondary Brake Tubes






PRIMARY AND SECONDARY BRAKE TUBES





1. Position the primary or secondary brake tube(s) (2) in the vehicle and attach to the routing clip.
2. Connect the primary or secondary brake tube(s) (2) at the HCU (1) and tighten to 19 Nm (168 in. lbs.).





3. Connect the primary or secondary brake tube(s) (4) at the master cylinder (1) and tighten to 19 Nm (168 in. lbs.).





4. If removed, route the power steering hoses and reservoir, install the routing clips, install the retaining bolt and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).






NOTE: Make sure the tab (4) is snaps into place.

5. Position the cowl side extension (5) and install the cowl side extension to cowl extension fastener (1).
6. Install the hood weather strip (2) into position and attach the connector (3) to the body.
7. Install the air cleaner body.
8. Remove the prop rod from the brake pedal.
9. Fill and pressure bleed the brake system Service and Repair.
