Pressure Hose - Pump to Steering Gear

5.7L - PRESSURE HOSE, PUMP TO GEAR





1. Position the line, slide retaining clip behind the forward retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
2. Install the two mounting bracket (3) bolts for the pressure line at the engine cradle and tighten to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).





3. Connect the power steering pressure line (1) to the power steering gear (3) and tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
4. If equipped, install the front skid plate Front
5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.





6. Connect the power steering pressure line (4) to the power steering pump (1) and tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the air cleaner body.
8. Refill the power steering fluid and bleed the system Power Steering System Bleeding.
