Power Sliding Door Module, Right (PSDMR)

B210D-BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information .

- When Monitored:
At all times.

- Set Condition:
When the Power Sliding Door Module detects input voltage below 10.0 volts for more than 15 seconds, this code will set.





1. CHECK POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE DTC's

NOTE: Ensure the battery is fully charged and serviceable before proceeding.

1. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs

Are there any PCM Charging, Starting or Battery related DTCs present?

Yes

- Diagnose and repair the DTC(s).
- For Gas engine applications; Testing and Inspection.

No

- Go To 2

2. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's.
2. Start the engine and run for two minutes.
3. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

Does the scan tool display B210D-BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and poor pin fit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

3. CHECK THE RIGHT POWER SLIDING DOOR TRACK HARNESS





NOTE: At this time it will be necessary to remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle.

1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Remove the Power Sliding Door Drive Unit Assembly from the vehicle. Power Sliding Door Drive Assembly - Removal.
3. Remove the Power Sliding Door Module from the track assembly.
4. Disconnect the Power Sliding Door Module C1 harness connector.
5. Using a 12-volt test light, connect one end to the (A959) Fused B(+) circuit and the other end to the (Z908/9) Ground in the PSD Module C1 harness connector.
6. Turn the ignition on.

NOTE: The test light must illuminate brightly. Compare the brightness to that of a direct connection to the battery.

Does the test tight illuminate brightly?

Yes

- Replace the Power Sliding Door Module. Power Sliding Door Module - Installation.
- Programming and Relearning Perform the Power Sliding Door Learn Cycle procedure.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Determine which circuit has the high resistance. Repair the open or high resistance in the (A959) Fused B(+) circuit or the (Z908/9) Ground circuit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
