Reclining Mechanism - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: The reclining assembly is integrated with the seat back assembly and is not a serviceable item.

NOTE: 60% seat shown, 40% seat similar unless noted.

1. Install the headrest assembly, Headrest - Removal.
2. Position the seat back/reclining assembly (1).





3. Install the two nuts (3) fastening the recliner to the seat cushion frame assembly. Tighten the nuts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). Repeat on the opposite side.
4. Install the seat back cover/foam, Seat Back Cover - Installation.
5. Install the fastener (1) securing the shield (2) to the recliner. Tighten the fastener securely. Repeat on the opposite side.
