REMOVAL
Special Tools:
NOTE: 60% seat shown, 40% seat similar unless noted.
NOTE: On all leather trimmed seats, back cover can be removed from the back foam pad. On cloth trimmed seats, the back cover does not separate from the foam pad.
1. For 60% seat, remove the center headrest (1) by depressing the button on the sleeves and pulling up.
2. Using special tool , remove the pull strap bezel (2).
3. Fold the headrest into the downward position.
4. Untuck the seat back cover under the headrest and detach the hook and loop strips (1) from each other.
5. Position the headrest in the upward position.
6. Position the seat in the fold flat position.
7. Disengage the J-clips (1) from each other.
8. Unzip the zipper (1) located on the side of the seat back cover (2). Repeat on the opposite side.
9. Remove the fasteners (3) securing the rear shield (1).
10. Remove the rear shield (1) by pulling up on the bottom of the shield and rolling it upward.
11. Remove the fastener (2) from the front of the side shield (1). Repeat on the opposite side.
12. Remove the side shield (1). Repeat on the opposite side.
13. For 60% seats, pull up on the front of the seat back cover to expose the center headrest sleeve guides.
14. Depress the headrest tabs (1) and push up on the bottom of the center headrest sleeve (2).
15. Remove the center headrest sleeves (2).
16. Lift seat back cover (2) and foam straight up from the seat back frame and over the headrest.
17. If required, separate the seat back cover from the foam by disengaging the locking strips (1) from the keepers.
