Recliner Cable - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the recliner handle, Seat Handle - Removal.
2. Remove the side shields, Seat Cushion Side Shields - Removal
3. Remove the seat cover from the cushion and the flex mat from the cushion frame, Seat Cushion Cover - Removal.
4. Remove the fastener (1) from the underside of the brain plate (1).





5. Remove the brain plate (1) from the seat.





6. Detach the recliner cable (1) from the seat cushion frame.





7. Cut the zip tie (1) from the cable bundle.





8. Detach the two cable clips (2).
9. Detach the conduit (1) at the seat frame.





10. Detach the auto full forward cable (1) from the seat cushion frame.





11. Detach the auto full forward cable (1) from the seat riser.





12. Detach the recliner cable (1) at the recliner.
13. Using needlenose pliers or equivalent, disengage the cable retainer (2) and pull the cable assembly (3) forward.





14. Pull the recliner cable (1) through the opening in the seat cushion frame.
15. Remove the recliner cable (1) from the seat frame.
