Wireless Ignition Node Receiver - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the electrical connector (1) to WIN (2).
2. If equipped, connect the antenna connector to the WIN.
3. Position the WIN module into the instrument panel.





4. Position the WIN module into the mounting bracket (2) and install the fasteners (1) to secure the WIN module to the bracket. Tighten the fasteners securely.





5. Install the three fasteners (1) securing the WIN bracket (2) to the instrument panel.Tighten screws to 2.5 Nm (22 in. lbs.).





6. Install the instrument panel cover pad Instrument Panel Pad - Installation.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.

NOTE: Vehicles equipped with PEM: If the WIN is being replaced, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to initialize and configure the new PEM. Follow the programming steps outlined in the diagnostic scan tool for Replace found under Miscellaneous Functions for the PEM/Passive Entry Module menu item.

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with the Sentry Key Immobilizer System (SKIS), when the Wireless Ignition Node (WIN) is replaced with a new unit, a diagnostic scan tool MUST be used to initialize the new WIN and to program at least two Sentry Key FOBIK transponders before the vehicle can be operated.
