Rear Door Carrier Plate - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the door trim panel Rear Door Trim Panel - Removal.
2. Disconnect the glass from the regulator by pushing the tabs out of the hole in the glass. Slide the glass up into the channel and apply tape to hold it out of the way.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors on the carrier plate and the door latch assembly.
4. Remove the wiring harness from the carrier plate.
5. Disconnect the exterior door handle connecting rods.
6. Remove the door latch fasteners (1).
7. Remove the carrier plate mounting fasteners (4).
8. Carefully remove the carrier plate (3) by raising the front and lowering the rear of the carrier plate while pulling away from the door.
