Engine Coolant Thermostat - Installation

5.7L ENGINE





1. Position the thermostat and thermostat housing (3) onto the water pump.
2. Install the thermostat housing (3) bolts. Tighten the bolts to 13 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the radiator hose (1) onto the thermostat housing (3).
4. Fill the cooling system. Service and Repair.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks.Service and Repair
