Intake Manifold: Specifications

UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD






The bolts must tightened in the sequence shown 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.)






Install the seven upper intake manifold attaching bolts.
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).

Install two nuts to the upper intake manifold support bracket
Tighten the nuts 10 Nm (89 in. lbs.)
Tighten the studbolt 20 Nm (177 in. lbs.)






LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD






Install the fuel injectors and the fuel rail to the lower intake manifold.
Tighten the four bolts in the sequence shown 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.)






Install the manifold attaching bolts
Tighten in the sequence shown 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
