B1868-DRIVER PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT STUCK

- When Monitored:
Whenever the module is awake.

- Set Condition:
When the Master Switch Passenger Window Mux circuit is below 3.5 volts for over 30 seconds.







1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase DTCs
3. Operate the Driver Passenger Window Switch in all positions several times.
4. Wait 30 seconds.
5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B1868-DRIVER PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT STUCK?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- The conditions that caused this code to set are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagram/schematic as a guide, inspect the wiring and connectors.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

2. DRIVER WINDOW SWITCH SHORTED




1. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
2. Disconnect the Driver Window/Door Lock Switch connector.
3. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B1868-DRIVER PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH CIRCUIT STUCK?

No

- Replace the Driver Window/Door Lock Switch.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

Yes

- Go To 3

3. (Q222) MASTER SWITCH PASSENGER WINDOW MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND




1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Driver Door Module C2 connector.
3. Measure the resistance between ground and the (Q222) Master Switch Passenger Window Mux circuit.

Is the resistance below 10,000.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the (Q222) Master Switch Passenger Window Mux circuit for a short to ground.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

No

- Go To 4

4. (Q222) MASTER SWITCH PASSENGER WINDOW MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO (Q994) DRIVER EXPRESS WINDOW SWITCH RETURN CIRCUIT




1. Measure the resistance between the (Q222) Master Switch Passenger Window Mux circuit and the (Q994) Driver Express Window Switch Return circuit.

Is the resistance below 10,000.0 ohms?

Yes

- Repair the (Q222) Master Switch Passenger Window Mux circuit for a short to the (Q994) Driver Express Window Switch Return circuit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

No

- Replace the Driver Door Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.
