Front Fender - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Position the fender to the vehicle.
2. Install the fasteners (1) securing the inner fender ledge. Tighten the fasteners to 8 N-m (71 in. lbs.).
3. Install the hood hinge (2), Hood Hinge - Installation.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.





5. Install the two bolts (1) securing the lower fender dogleg to the sill. Tighten the fasteners to 9 N-m (80 in. lbs.).
6. Install the rocker panel/cladding.





7. Accessing through the wheelhouse, install the bolt (1) securing the fender's rear dogleg to the bodyside bracket. Tighten the fastener to 8 N-m (71 in. lbs.).





8. Install the two fasteners (1) securing the fender's front dogleg to the front end module. Tighten the fasteners to 8 N-m (71 in. lbs.).
9. Install the headlamp, Front Lamp Unit - Installation.
10. Install the front fascia, Front Bumper Fascia - Installation.
11. Check the fender for proper gap and flushness, .
12. Install the front wheelhouse splash shield, Splash Shield - Installation.
13. Install the front wheel.
14. Lower the vehicle.
15. Connect the negative battery cable.
16. Close the hood.
