U1175-00-LOST IGNITION STATUS MESSAGE

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
Continuously when the ignition is on.

- Set Condition:
The Steering Control Module does not receive the Ignition Switch status over the CAN Bus.





CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC

NOTE: Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

NOTE: Diagnose any CAN Bus DTCs that may be set in other modules before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active DTCs.

Dose the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- If no other CAN Bus DTCs are set in other modules and the SCCM is the only one reporting this DTC, replace the SCCM. Steering Column Module - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
