Instrument Panel - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the instrument panel assembly.
2. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





4. From inside the vehicle, install the bolt (1) that secures the instrument panel support beam to the support bracket of the cowl panel and tighten to 33 Nm (24 ft. lbs.).





5. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





6. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).





7. Install the bolts (1) and tighten to 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lbs.).





8. Install the nut (1) that secures the passenger side end of the HVAC housing (3) to the instrument panel support (2). Tighten the nut to 4.5 Nm (40 in. lbs.).
9. Install the IP trim panel, glove box shelf and the glove box Instrument Panel Glove Box - Installation.
10. Connect the HVAC electrical connectors. HVAC Housing - Installation





11. Connect the electrical connectors (1 and 2).
12. Install the defroster ducts.
13. Install the passenger side A-pillar trim. A-Pillar Trim Panel - Installation





14. Install the endcap (1) and seat the clips fully.





15. Install the passenger side instrument panel silencer (1).
16. Install the passenger side cowl trim panel. Cowl Trim Panel - Installation





17. Install the four nuts (1) that secure the HVAC housing to the center of the instrument panel support. Tighten the nuts to 4.5 Nm (40 in. lbs.).
18. Install the bin into the center of the instrument panel.
19. Install the center duct.
20. Install the radio Radio - Installation.
21. Install the floor console Floor Console - Installation.





22. Connect the electrical connectors (1).
23. Install the driver side A-pillar trim. A-Pillar Trim Panel - Installation





24. Install the end cap (1).
25. Install the driver side cowl trim panel. Cowl Trim Panel - Installation
26. Install the instrument cluster. Instrument Cluster Bezel - Installation
27. Install the ignition switch.
28. Install the steering column. Steering Column - Installation
