Pressure Hose - Pump to Steering Gear

5.7L - PRESSURE HOSE, PUMP TO GEAR





1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
2. Remove the air cleaner body.
3. Remove the pressure line (4) from the pump (1).





4. Raise and support the vehicle.
5. If equipped, remove the front skid plate Skid Plate - Removal.
6. Disconnect the pressure line (1) at the gear (3).





7. Loosen the forward routing clip bolt (2) to the cradle.
8. Remove the two mounting bracket (3) bolts for the pressure line at the engine cradle.
9. Lift the pressure line off the forward mounting bolt (2) to remove from vehicle.
