Single Pane Sunroof Drain Tube - Removal

REMOVAL

FRONT HOSES





1. Remove A- pillar trim, A-Pillar Trim Panel - Removal
2. Remove headliner, Headliner - Removal.
3. Disconnect the drain hose from the sunroof housing (1) by firmly rotating left to right while pulling outward.
4. Remove cowl trim,Cowl Trim Panel - Removal
5. Remove glovebox for right side drain tube,Instrument Panel Glove Box - Removal
6. Separate the lower tube from the grommet in the body.
7. Drain any liquid from hose connection, if necessary.
8. Attach a string or equivalent to the tube at the grommet (to aid in installation).
9. Release the clips and guide the tube through the dash / cowl area.
10. Un-tie string, remove tube fully.

REAR HOUSING HOSE

1. Remove headliner, Headliner - Removal.
2. Disconnect the drain hose from the sunroof housing (2) by firmly rotating left to right while pulling outward.
3. Remove C- pillar trim, C-Pillar Trim Panel - Removal
4. Remove quarter panel trim,Quarter Trim Panel - Removal
5. Pull front of wheelhouse insulation pad inward.
6. Drain any liquid from hose connection, if necessary.
7. Release the push pin fasteners and separate the lower tube from the grommet in the body.
