Front Coil Spring - Installation

INSTALLATION










1. Compress the spring (2).






NOTE: The orientation of the upper shock mount (3) in relation to the lower portion of the shock assembly (1) must be maintained during assembly.

NOTE: Make sure the jounce bumper (4) is installed in the upper shock mount (3) and the dust shield (6) is installed in the upper spring isolator (5).

2. Install the components as removed:
- Spring assembly (1)
- Upper shock mount (3)
- Jounce bumper (4)
- Upper spring isolator (5)
- Dust shield (6)
- Spring (7)

3. Install the shock upper mounting nut (2) and tighten to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
4. Decompress the spring.
5. Remove the shock assembly from the spring compressor tool.
6. Install the shock assembly Front Shock Absorber - Installation.
