- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

Vehicle speed greater than 6 mph (9.6 km/h).

- Set Condition:
The Blind Spot Module detects an internal failure.





CHECK FOR ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)

NOTE: Diagnose and repair any vehicle charging system problems before proceeding with this procedure.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, read BSM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Replace the Blind Spot Module (BSM). Blind Spot Module - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
