REMOVAL

NOTE: The rear A/C-heater control is located in the rear overhead console or in the headliner, depending on trim level.

HEADLINER MOUNTED

NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the face of the rear A/C-heater control and bezel from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Using Trim Stick or equivalent, carefully disengage the four retaining tabs (2) that secure the rear control bezel (1) to the headliner.
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the back of the rear A/C-heater control (4) and place the control on a workbench.
4. Remove the two screws (3 and 5) that secure the rear A/C-heater control to the rear control bezel and remove the control.

OVERHEAD CONSOLE MOUNTED

NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the face of the overhead console from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the rear overhead console (3) and place it on a workbench Overhead Console - Removal.
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the back of the rear A/C-heater control (1).
4. Remove the two screws (4) that secure the rear A/C-heater control to the rear overhead console and remove the control.
