Wireless Ignition Node Receiver - Removal






REMOVAL

WARNING: Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components. Failure to do this may result in serious or fatal injury.





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel cover pad Instrument Panel Pad - Removal.





3. Remove the three fasteners (1) securing the WIN bracket (2) to the instrument panel.





4. Remove the fasteners (1) to separate the WIN module from the bracket (2).





5. If equipped, disconnect the antenna connector from wireless ignition node Wireless Ignition Node (WIN).
6. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the WIN module (2) and discard the original WIN module.
