Liftgate Trim Panel - Installation

INSTALLATION

TRIM PANEL - LOWER





NOTE: The side trim panels can be installed in conjunction with the lower liftgate trim panel.

NOTE: View shown with side panels shown.

1. Position the lower trim panel (1) towards the door and connect the wiring harness to the liftgate lamp (2).





2. Align the trim panel's retaining clips to the openings in the liftgate, hand tap around the perimeter of the lower trim panel (1) to engage the retaining clips.
3. If installing the side trim panels (2, 3) in conjunction with the lower trim panel (1), hand tap to engage the retaining clips.





4. Install the two lower screws (1). Tighten the screws securely.
5. Close the liftgate.

TRIM PANEL - UPPER





1. Align the trim panel's retaining clips to the openings in the liftgate, hand tap around the perimeter of the upper trim panel (1) to engage the retaining clips.





2. Install the pushpin fasteners (1) to the upper trim panel (2). Repeat for the opposite side.
3. Install the left and right side trim panels.
4. Close the liftgate.

TRIM PANEL - SIDES





1. Align the trim panel's retaining clips to the openings in the liftgate, hand tap around the perimeter of the side trim panel (1) to engage the retaining clips. Repeat on the opposite side.
2. Close the liftgate.
