Fuel Lines - Removal

WARNING: The fuel system is under constant pressure even with engine OFF. Until the fuel pressure has been properly relieved from the system, do not attempt to open the fuel system.

1. Release the fuel system pressure Service and Repair.
2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Remove engine cover.
4. Disconnect the fuel line quick connect fitting (2) from the body mounted fuel line bundle Service and Repair.
5. Disconnect the fuel line quick connect fitting (3) from the fuel rail Service and Repair.

6. Disengage fuel line retainer from valve cover mounting stud and remove fuel line (1) from vehicle.
