Heated Seat Module - Installation





INSTALLATION

CAUTION: When equipped with a leather wrapped heated steering wheel and replacement of a Heated Seat Module (HSM) is required, the new HSM must be manually configured with a scan tool Programming and Relearning . Failure to follow these instruction may result in damage to the heated steering wheel.





1. Install the Heated Seat Module (HSM) (4) to the seat frame (2). Position the two rear retaining tabs (3) into the slots in the seat frame, then push the HSM upward until the lock tab (1) engages the seat frame.





2. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the HSM.
3. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
4. When equipped with leather wrapped heated steering wheel, use a scan tool and configure the HSM Programming and Relearning.
