Antenna Mast - Removal

REMOVAL

Special Tools:










1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the passenger side cowl trim panel (1) Cowl Trim Panel - Removal.





3. Disconnect the antenna mast connector (2) from the instrument panel antenna connector (1).





4. Securely tie a suitable length of cord or twine to the antenna half of the coaxial cable connector. This cord will be used to pull the cable back into position during installation.
5. Remove the antenna mast (1).





6. Remove the antenna cap nut (1) using the (C-4816).
7. Remove the antenna adapter (4).
8. With the passenger door open, pull the antenna body assembly out through the opening between the fender and body.
