Installation

INSTALLATION

CAUTION: Failure to properly torque axle mounting bolts may result in axle damage.





1. Install the isolator (1) and axle mounting bolts (2) on axle and tighten to specifications. .





2. Raise axle into mounting position.
3. Install engine to isolator bolts (1) and isolator through bolt (2) and tighten to specifications. .





4. Install axle housing pinion nose mounting bolts (1) and tighten to specifications. .





5. Install axle shaft tube mounting bolts (1) and wire harness bracket (2) and tighten to specifications. .

6. Install disconnect actuator (2) wiring connector (1).





7. Install suspension crossmember (1), bolts and nuts (2) and tighten to specifications. .





8. Install skid plate (1) and bolts (2) and tighten to specifications. .





9. Install front propeller shaft (2) with reference marks (4) aligned and tighten and tighten to specifications. .
10. Install axle half shafts. .





11. Install axle vent tube.
12. Verify differential fluid level and add fluid if necessary. .
