Generator - Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the air cleaner body (1) Air Cleaner Body - Removal.





3. Remove the serpentine belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal.

4. Remove the lower generator bolt.

5. Partially drain cooling system below upper radiator hose.

6. Lower the vehicle.





7. Remove the cooling fan (1) Cooling Fan - Removal.

9. Disconnect the generator field electrical connector (1).

10. Remove the B+ retainer (2) and remove the B+ cable.





11. Remove the upper generator retainers (1).

12. Remove the generator from the vehicle.
