B21DD-85-SYSTEM VOLTAGE - SIGNAL ABOVE ALLOWABLE RANGE

- When Monitored:
The first 10 seconds after the ignition is turned to run.

- Set Condition:
When the Body Control Module (BCM) sends a message that the system voltage is above 16.0 volts for over 15 seconds, this code will set.





Diagnostic Test
CHECK POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) DTCs
1. With the scan tool, read PCM DTCs.

Are there any PCM Charging or Battery DTCs present?

Yes

- A L L Diagnostic Trouble Codes ( DTC ) and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.

No

- This code is for information only. At some time there was a high battery system voltage. Check the battery and charging system for an intermittent failure.
