Oxygen Sensor - Installation

4.7L/5.7L

NOTE: 5.7L system shown. 4.7L similar.





Threads of new oxygen sensors are factory coated with anti-seize compound to aid in removal. DO NOT add any additional anti-seize compound to threads of a new oxygen sensor.

1. Install O2 sensor. Tighten to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

2. Connect O2 sensor wire connector.

3. Lower vehicle.
